No Kids’ Yoga on 4th June for Queen’s Birthday

Yoga helps with self confidence and finding ease in challenging situations, and it is a fun and light way to teach kids to be disciplined, self aware, kind and open minded. We focus on being community oriented, working together, accepting each other’s differences and being creative.

Kids Yoga Plan – Term 4

Week 1: Friendship.  Encouraging empathy, kindness & connection in the circle.

Week 2: Saying Hello To The Body.  Learn the body parts, encourage body awareness & appreciation.

Week 3: Forrest & Bird.  Bringing Awareness to nature & our environment.

Week 4: Courage.  Kia Kaha, stand strong in who you are.  You are amazing.

Week 5: Ocean.  Bringing Awareness to our oceans and all the beings in it.

Week 6: Compassion & Loving-Kindness.  Encouraging compassion & loving kindness to the world around us & within us.

Week 7: Law of Attraction & Affirmations.  “If I want to feel good, I just need to think and say good things”.

Week 8: Vision Boards.  Talking about goals & dreams for the future and the different ways we can make them come true.
